Stick & Poke tattoos are done by hand using a single needle and ink. Instead of a machine, you manually poke the skin dot by dot to build lines or shading. It’s slower than machine tattooing but gives you more control and a personal, DIY feel.

Stick & Poke can be safe if done properly — using sterile equipment, clean techniques, and proper aftercare. Like all tattooing, there are risks if hygiene isn't taken seriously, so always follow our guide and never reuse needles or ink.

Yes — our Stick & Poke kits are designed with beginners in mind. They include everything you need to get started, plus access to a detailed guide that walks you through each step safely and confidently.

We don’t include aftercare balms because everyone’s skin reacts differently. Some people prefer specific products, and others have sensitivities to certain ingredients. Instead, we include medical-grade second skin, which protects the tattoo in the most critical early stage. This keeps things clean, simple, and lets you choose the aftercare product that works best for you.

We recommend Bepanthen — it’s widely available, gentle on healing skin, and commonly used for tattoo aftercare. Just apply a thin layer once the second skin comes off and the area has been gently cleaned. Avoid heavy or scented creams, as they can clog pores or irritate the tattoo.

We dispatch orders within 1–2 business days. Delivery typically takes 2–8 business days depending on your location in Australia. You'll receive tracking details once your order is on the way. If there is anything we can do to get your kit to you faster, we'll be doing it!
